Job Description
- Req#: req6114
- Manufacturing Processes: Gain insights into the production of launcher vehicle structures, as well as optimizing manufacturing processes
- Testing: Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate the performance of components and sub-systems
- Responsibility for Smaller Systems and Projects: Take ownership of smaller projects, from design and analysis to validation and hands-on manufacturing, ensuring their successful execution and meeting project objectives
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in rocketry/space and a passion for working with structures
- A hands-on mentality and/or prior experience in vehicle structures, such as involvement in related projects, participation in student racing teams, rocketry teams, or similar endeavors
- Experience in CAD software, particularly Siemens NX
- Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools and analytical calculation methods
- Fluent oral and written English skills, as all day-to-day activities are conducted in English
