  Calgon Carbon Corporation is currently looking for a dynamic, motivated college student for our 2023 Internship program which is scheduled to begin on June 5, 2023.

  
  Position : Marketing Intern – Business to Consumer
  Location: Headquarters – Moon Township, PA

  Hours of work: Full-time position with hours generally Monday through Friday 9AM-5PM

  Overview

  Our internship program provides real-world experience enabling future professionals the ability to apply what they are learning in school, to applicable situations in a career field they are pursuing. This internship program helps interns gain additional skills that can be applied to future jobs.

  Calgon Carbon is in the process of launching new products to the consumer market. Currently, Calgon Carbon sells small quantities of standard products on Amazon; however, it is the goal to penetrate new markets and sell new products to the consumer industry. This marketing intern will be responsible for growth of sales on Amazon and other platforms. This marketing intern will also work with the other interns assigned to this project to create a value chain that is applicable to these products and markets

  
  Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Collecting sales and market data to determine the best path forward: Phase 2.
  • Determining avenues and sales platforms that Calgon should consider, i.e. Social Media platforms
  • Working with our outside consultants to further analyze sales data and keywords. This will be a parallel task with the marketing intern for this project.
  • New Project Ideas and providing feedback on design ideas.
  • Creating a front page for the QR codes that will be placed on the consumer products. This will be a parallel task with the sales intern for this project.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • The successful intern will be punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, flexible while adapting to changes, is self-motivated, and acquires new skills quickly.
  • Interns should have the ability to deal with ambiguity, be productive and provide valuable support to cross functional teams, demonstrate technical knowledge, take initiative by anticipating required tasks and seek out additional assignments and convey opinions and findings clearly and accurately

  • Successful interns will have the ability to analyze problems in a systematic and timely manner, look for creative ways in offering new approaches, and are customer focused
    
    

  Relevant Fields of Study - Working towards a bachelor’s degree in:

  • Business, Sales, or Marketing

  Qualifications

  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the US
