  Intern Operations Excellence

  YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Supports the implementation and sustainability of the Bayer - Product Supply System (PSS).
  • Provides technical and functional support to the site in Operational Excellence and continuous improvement related topics.
  • Supports site digital transformation efforts through identification, development, and implementation of digital solutions and applications aimed at reducing non-value added tasks and improving efficiencies.
  • Document various processes for training and quality documentation (workflow and process definitions, step-by-step training documents, quick reference guides, etc.).
  • Participate in Ad hoc projects that may come up during the internship period.

  Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values, more specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

  Required Qualifications:

  • Rising Junior or Senior in a Bachelor's Degree program majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field as of Summer 2024;
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Power Point, Visio, and Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP);
  • Adobe skills;
  • Prior work experience;
  • Demonstrated experience learning new material quickly and applying that learning.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical and reading comprehension skills;
  • Involved in extracurricular activities;
  • Demonstrate management skills in the areas of leadership, teamwork, innovation, analytical skills and project management;
  • Work independently/minimal supervision.
