      At the Benelux Nestlé Procurement department – part of the Operations Netherlands division – we take care of the purchase of raw materials, packaging and services necessary for our products and operations. As an intern you will be part of the Benelux Procurement team.

      Procurement at Nestlé is highly international, so indirectly you are part of and work closely with the Global Procurement team. As of August 1, 2023 we are looking for a new intern. In this role, you are assigned various tasks for which you are responsible. Do you enjoy interacting with multiple stakeholders in an organization and have you always wanted to be part of the world's largest food producer? Then we are looking for you!

      • Sustainable sourcing coordinator
      • Ad-hoc support to the Benelux Procurement team

      You will take on this challenge at Operations Nestlé Netherlands

      A challenging internship where you can gain broad experience within a Procurement department at a large multinational.

Due to the open and informal atmosphere at the office in Amstelveen, there is always room for fun or a coffee break. In addition, there is an intern community at Nestlé. For example, intern events are organized and lunches are regularly taken together. But you can also think of a Q&A with the CEO, a pub quiz, drinks and more!

      An internship at Nestlé lasts 6 months and starts on the 1st of August. We apply a flexible hybrid working model which means that you will work partially at our head office in Amstelveen, and partially from home. We prefer full-time (collaborative) interns, but it is possible to deviate from this in consultation (state this clearly in your motivation letter!).

      The vacancy offers more than just a challenge:

      • A full-time internship (32-40 hours per week);
      • 10 vacation days
      • An internship allowance of €500 per month;
      • Full travel allowance;
      • A work laptop;
      • A Nestlé Internship Training Plan specifically focused on your development;

      This is what you bring with you for the vacancy Benelux Procurement intern:

      You are action and result driven. If you see opportunities, you like to take the initiative to act immediately. You are able to separate main and side issues and quickly acquire new knowledge. You quickly come up with new ideas and solutions. And you like to work in a structured way when preparing and performing work. You also know how to convey a message to others in different ways, depending on the target group and relationships.

      • University student;
      • Must be English speaking. Preference for Dutch and/or French speaking;
      • Affinity with sustainability, procurement and FMCG;
      • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
