We accept interns for a wide variety of career endeavors for students at all levels including:

• Early Childhood Education

With flexible scheduling, Children's Friend can help tailor your internship goals to you. Whether for school credit or just simply for resume building experience, we hope you will choose to come experience life as an employee at the first child-serving non-profit in RI!

Services include Early Head Start, Head Start, WIC, adoption, foster care, help for families with substance abuse, counseling, assistance for children with developmental delays and other child welfare and early childhood services.

Please note: for some internship experiences in which you will have direct contact with children and familes, numerous requirements need to be met including fingerprinting, background checks through the Attorney General's office and immunization records. Please plan accordingly when pursuing internships for school credit to allow ample time to complete all checks prior to required start.

All Children's Friend internships are unpaid unless otherwise stated during interview/onboarding process.
