      ABOUT THE TEAM

      The Research and Knowledge team is dedicated to unlocking the full value of PSP’s existing knowledge assets, fostering the creation of new knowledge and increasing the incorporation of knowledge into investment strategies and decisions, particularly as they relate to disruptive innovation.

      ABOUT YOUR ROLE

      As an Intern, Research and Knowledge, you’ll:

      • Track and monitor emerging technologies, market trends, and innovative business models across various sectors that could potentially impact the investment landscape, particularly with respect to artificial intelligence. This might include reading industry publications, attending webinars, and following relevant news sources

      • Collect and organize data from diverse sources (e.g., academic research, industry reports, market data, company filings) to support research projects. This will involve data cleaning, formatting, and potentially some quantitative analysis

      • Participate in team discussions and workshops, sharing research findings and contributing to brainstorming sessions

      • Assist in preparing newsletters and presentations for internal stakeholders, summarizing research findings and contributing to enhancing knowledge of disruptive innovations

      WHAT YOU’LL NEED

      • Enrolled in university program

      • Outstanding analytical and writing skills

      • Curiosity and a keen interest in new technologies and their impact on the economy and financial markets

      • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite

      • Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum

      • Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)

      • Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position. No support to obtain the right to work will be provided.
        *Options include Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid open work permit.
