  Intern, Safety Analysis

  Timeframe: June 3, 2024 - August 30, 2024
  Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week
  100% onsite at our National Headquarters building in Fountain Valley, CA. - Seeking local candidates only.

  
  Major Responsibilities:

  • Safety Case Review
    • Monitor and summarize safety alerts based on risk to motor vehicle safety, regulatory and compliance.
    • Assist with preparation safety office materials.
    • Collaborate with Safety Engineers on active investigations.
  • Systems Enhancements
    • Provide recommendations on process improvements to safety office systems.
    • Review and recommend updates to applicable policies and procedures.
    • Conduct audits of relevant data systems.

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or other analytical / technical fields, including technical writing, and/or public policy.
  • Interest in automotive safety and/or automotive industry
  • Organization and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, high integrity, and ethical behavior.
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
  • Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

  Compensation:

  $25/hr
