      Job Summary: This full-time, temporary Intern will support the Specialized Banking Team at Needham Bank - Medford. The SBC Intern will be introduced to our procedures for customer identification, onboarding and relationship management to promote vertical and horizontal portfolio growth and profitability for the SBC. The Intern will work closely with the SBC Team on daily tasks and will focus on several projects to assist the SBC Business Development and Compliance and Operations Teams to create efficiencies and enhance operational integrity.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Partner with SBC Business Development and SBC Compliance and Operations on key projects to promote efficiencies, program growth, client experience and compliance readiness
      • Partner with SBC Business Development Team in leveraging available public resources to identify and connect with prospects
      • Participate in introductory conversations with prospects and relationship review conversations with existing clients to promote client experience, compliance and profitability
      • Introductory education within, but not limited to, the scope of emerging market banking, Cannabis and Money Service Businesses regulatory, compliance, legal and lending arenas and work with team members to communicate with clients on a variety of topics
      • Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned
