  Intern Sustainability - CORE Program (m/f/d)

  CORE (Customer Oriented Resilient Enterprise) is the strategic Business-led, IT-enabled global Bayer program to drive the transformation of our businesses through simplification of our processes and IT systems. In the Sustainability value stream in CORE we will provide one source of truth for sustainability data across Bayer. The goal is to enable our business to integrate extra-financial and ESG data systematically in their decisions.

  YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

  • Help develop a new industry standard to include Sustainability data systematically in company reporting and decision-making
  • Support Program Management Office activities, such as planning, risk and interdependencies management, deliverables tracking, preparation and execution of workshops, events, and meetings
  • Manage own project elements, e.g., “Creating a Sustainability mindset in the CORE team”
  • Engage with external consultancies, as well as internal stakeholders for Sustainability
  • Support exchange and integration with other value streams in CORE (e.g. Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement etc.)
  • Support the team in the timely execution of process and system design tasks
  • Experience Agile Ways of Working and work with supporting IT tools (Azure DevOps, Signavio, etc)

  WHO YOU ARE

  • Passionate about Sustainability and IT
  • Bachelor/Master degree student (m/f/d) in business, sustainability, engineering, information technology or any other related field
  • Interest in large Business and IT transformation projects
  • First experiences in project management as well as good communication skills are helpful
  • Want to step out of the comfort zone, take responsibility and apply creative thinking
  • Fluent in Business English, both written and spoken
