      Our Systems Administration team is seeking a Summer Intern to assist team members by contacting member sites, setting up installation and troubleshooting meetings, and helping them install and configure ACR Connect (an ACR developed product) for various business use cases. Learn how to document updates, track issue statuses using a ticketing system, and how to escalate issues within the team or with development teams.

      Responsibilities:

      • Working with member sites (remotely) to schedule meetings for troubleshooting or answering product questions
      • Assist with the installation process
      • Track issue tickets utilizing Freshdesk (ticketing software)
      • Track and monitor installation and submission stats
      • Attend, participate and contribute in daily meetings with the team

      To be qualified you must:

      • Current student in computer science, information systems or related field
      • Must be a full time student with a 3.0 GPA or higher
      • Familiarity with installing and setting up software on Windows 2016 and Windows 2019 servers
      • Competent with MS Office software
      • Organizational and analytical skills
      • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions
      • Willingness to learn
      • Ability to work as a part of a team and individually
      • Familiarity with Powershell A PLUS!

      What to Expect

      • We will be conducting interviews beginning in March
      • Our intention is to extend an offer for this opportunity by mid-April
      • Interns will join the team on May 20th and conclude their experience on August 9th

      Work Location: This position will work a fully Remote schedule. Preferred candidates will reside in the EST time zone so as to be able to work our core office hours. Qualified candidates must have reliable internet service, a quiet work space, professional discipline and possess excellent time management skills.

      ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy. ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably. Interns work a 37.5 hour work week, from 5/20/24 - 8/9/24. Depending on class level, a reasonable estimate of the hourly compensation range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00.
