      Fall 2024 Internship Opportunity!

      Come and join a passionate, creative and dynamic team of Application Engineers! Seeking an engineering student interested in the field of machine vision and imaging to develop and troubleshoot applications using cutting-edge technology in a variety of industries.

      The Applications Engineering Intern develops & troubleshoots software & hardware and provides backend applications development support and services to our team of Application Engineers who in turn work closely with customers, R&D team, Sales team and Technical Marketing team.

      The intern is required to work in the Dorval, Canada office a minimum of five days a week.

      This internship runs from September 3rd, 2024 through December 20th, 2024.


      Responsibilities:
      • Develops & Troubleshoots software & hardware for machine vision and imaging applications
      • Works closely with the Applications Engineering team, R&D teams & other technical staff to solve technical software or hardware problems using e-mail, phone and remote connection applications
      • Available to work from the Montreal office 5 days/week

      Qualifications:

      Required Qualifications:

      • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Ideally seeking 2nd year students or thereafter
      • Must be authorized to work in Canada without requiring any visa sponsorship now or in the future
      • Must reside within 50 miles of the primary work location- Dorval, Canada; only candidates able to work in the office 5 days a week will be considered
      • Solid working knowledge of C++, C, C#, Python programming languages
      • Excellent command of written and spoken English and functional in French
      • Knowledge of PC hardware, familiarity with Windows and Linux Operating Systems
      • Superior communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

      • Ability to collaborate as part of a team
