INTERNSHIP PROGRAM STRUCTURE: The 2024 Ulta Beauty GLOW Internship is a 10-week hybrid program tailored for college juniors, offering both Corporate and Supply Chain (DC) Internship Tracks. Interns will gain unique insights into their respective domains, contributing to real projects and dynamic initiatives within our corporate environment. The GLOW program provides real-world experience directly related to your academic discipline and career goals, offering a better understanding of your career options. The program spans 10 weeks and includes hands-on projects, cross-functional exposures, and professional development sessions. Hands-on experience working as a member of a specific department and team Assigned projects to accelerate learning of key functions/process Cross-functional departmental exposures Exposure to other business areas to ensure a full understanding of the company structure and strategy Professional development sessions and networking opportunities End of program presentation of project findings, and recommended course of action to leadership RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS INTERNSHIP: Work closely with the Strategic Program Lead to gain hands-on experience with program management tools and process mapping methodology. Shadow cross-functional business leads to learn about all aspects of the Target collaboration, including internal operations, end-to-end processes, and engagement with Target. Including operations, education, marketing, merchandising, store design, and supply chain. Identify opportunities for improvement or growth. Identify opportunities for synergy and initiate collaboration. Observe and partner with with program leaders to learn strategies on how lead diverse teams, navigate competing priorities, and influence in an environment of ambiguity and without authority. In tandem with the above, lean on new partnerships and put learnings to practice while leading a cross-functional team (including Target partners) toward progress against an annual business commitment, balancing program management, collaboration, and leadership. REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION: Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree entering your junior or senior year of school. Strong academic record. Previous work experience and involvement with on-campus organizations or activities. Analytical thinking, collaborative mindset, strong communication, and time management skills. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with management level personnel. Proven command of Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint, Word, Teams). Ability to commit during the months of June – August 2024 The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 / Hour with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
