      As an Internal Audit Intern, you will be part of an open and dynamic environment where you will be exposed to a broad accounting scope, learning or further developing your knowledge about internal controls, business processes, risk management and consulting activities at a $4Billion NASDQ listed multinational company.

      In this role

      During your internship at IDEXX you will be working as part of the IDEXX Global Internal Audit team. You will be working on cross border projects in EMEA and/or Asia Pacific, performing SOX controls reviews and testing, executing substantial audit procedures for revenue and even experimenting with RPA. There may be opportunities to be involved with international projects as well. This internship will provide you practical experience in the fundamentals in general internal audit practices at a US listed company and also insight how a larger corporate works and business processes are set up.

      What You Will Need to Succeed

      • We are looking for a Business Management student with a Finance, Accounting or Audit/Assurance focus, with love for numbers, good communication skills and the ability to multitask.
      • As we work in an international environment, fluency in English is a key
      • Being assertive, taking initiative and being able to work independently
      • Being organized and good with Excel
      • You possess a professional attitude, have attention to detail and eager to learn

      Some practical aspects

      • You need to be enrolled as a student towards the attaining of a degree to be eligible for this internship and to secure university approval to start the assignment. If you are not an European national, you will also need to provide an approved Nuffic agreement
      • You are available to start in July or August 2025 and can work with us for 5-6 months full-time (40 hours a week)
      • This internship is not suitable as a thesis internship
      • Our office is located in Hoofddorp, next to the train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). This is a hybrid position that will enable you to both work from home and in the office in alignment with your manager.
