Location:
This role is scheduled to be 100% remote. While remote, finalists MUST reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment with Kaiser Permanente: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, CT, DC, or IL.
Department Description:
Internal Audit Services’ purpose is to enhance risk management while helping to protect and create value for Kaiser Permanente. Our vision is to serve as a trusted advisor offering proactive and timely advice, strengthening internal controls, supporting strategic objectives, and ensuring organizational resiliency. Our mission is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals’ operations.
Intern Project(s):
This internship will be with the Care Delivery Operations portfolio, which includes Care Delivery, KP School of Medicine, Pharmacy, MSA/MOU, and Service Area. This portfolio includes audits and covers areas where patient care is provided, typically at the hospital and medical office buildings. The intern will be responsible for supporting audit projects in various stages (planning, testing, reporting). This may include onsite visits to facilities across all markets. In this role, responsibilities may include research, observations, participating in walkthroughs, sample testing, and report writing.
