The role
As an Internal Auditor, this role will be responsible for strengthening Railpen’s and the Trustee’s ability to create, protect, and sustain value by providing independent, risk-based, and object assurance, advise, insight, and foresight.
At Railpen we operate in a complex business environment, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our teams run well controlled processes and operations, you’ll become a trusted advisor. The person
The successful candidate will have experience of working as an Internal Auditor where you will have gathered information across the business and analysed your findings. To succeed in this role you will be naturally curious in your approach whilst innovating solutions. We are looking for someone who can build collaborative and trusting relationships with a variety of key stakeholders across all areas and levels of the business. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to hold difficult conversations and challenge practices that are not working effectively to enable you to have a real impact and add value in our controls across the business. Our values of integrity, community and alignment are the guiding principles that influence our behaviour. They help us make decisions and shape our relationships with others. They’re what we stand for. You will actively demonstrate our values, helping to create a safe environment, to place the needs of the community above oneself and, through a culture of ‘fair challenge’, align to the best interests of our members.
