Job Description :
A key member of the Northern Europe CR team, the Internal Communications and Employee Engagement Manager will be the architect of the business’ internal engagement strategy and shape its design and execution to foster the best, most supportive work environment for NE employees and ensure a high level of engagement.

The role will ensure that there is a coherent, year-long strategy to engage employees on business priorities and Society 2030 ambition, to promote employee-led initiatives around wellness and wellbeing and to support the members of the NE Executive Team (NE-XT) in building the narrative and their ongoing engagement with their teams and the wider business.
The person in the role will be responsible for the design and execution of a comprehensive internal communications strategy implemented throughout the year – shaping a strong and vibrant identity, managing communications channels and bringing creative thinking to raise the profile of NE-XT across offices and online and drive the agenda for engagement with the wider team. The person in role will support NE-XT in communicating business decisions to their teams and to the wider business, manage the monthly townhalls (driving agenda, calls and follow up), support HR in communicating and delivering on the roll out of global business-wide policies and initiatives. The role will also manage office activations and support local teams in using the power of our brands for successful engagement.

Leadership: The person in the role will be the face of Diageo NE internal communications, and the key point of contact for NE-XT to shape and communicate messages throughout the year.

The person in the role will be an excellent communicator, agile and fast-paced, comfortable in engaging with senior leaders across the business and driving outcomes; highly reactive, calm under pressure and able to prioritise efficiently and manage deadlines.
