      Internal Communications Consultant - Salary: up to £40,000

      This is a fantastic opportunity within the Brand and Corporate Affairs Employee Communications team, based in our Head Office in London. This role requires someone to bring energy, pace, a commercial and creative mindset to the role, creating and maintaining a strong working relationship with senior leadership teams and subject matter experts across the wider business on behalf of Employee Communications.

      A bit about the job:

      Working with the AI Head of Communications, and the AI Employee Senior Comms Manager, you’ll be an instrumental part of the team, helping to build and deliver all the components of the annual employee comms plan, sourcing and delivering great stories across all of our internal channels and building measurement and insight into everything we do to ensure constant improvement.

      You’ll be confident engaging with senior stakeholders to understand key business/people challenges and identify the role for communications; and be brilliant at digital communications, managing our Aviva Investors presence on our brand-new social platform, Workvivo (think LinkedIn crossed with Facebook) and designing and sending consumer-standard email communications from newsletters to senior leader emails.

      Skills and experience we’re looking for:

      • You’ll be an adept planner who is comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, a great listener, and able to influence both through personal impact, and through the use of relevant data and insight.
      • You will need to be passionate, collaborative and proactive with the will to change things for the better and make a real difference. We work together closely, often under pressure, but we have a privileged view of the business. We also look after each other, cover for each other, deliver great things and get to see the tangible results of our work.
      • Be brilliant at digital communications, managing our Aviva Investors presence on our brand-new social platform, Workvivo (think LinkedIn crossed with Facebook) and designing and sending consumer-standard email communications from newsletters to senior leader emails
      • Communications experience needed (and/or evidence of professional qualification or membership eg CIPR). You’ll understand the role for communications, the benefits and drawbacks of key employee communications channels, and can formulate outcome-based integrated plans
      • Experience of owning and managing communications campaigns/projects – including digital / social (and taking steps to gain measurement/data/insight)

      What you’ll get for this role:

      • Salary up to £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)

      • Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary, actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s
