      Cetera Financial Group (CFG) is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist who will focus on supporting internal communications and executing projects and activities. The Specialist will work collaboratively with the Internal Communications team and cross-functional colleagues throughout Cetera to create a positive, consistent digital experience for team members. The ideal candidate has strong writing, editing, and project management skills and is a detail-oriented, collaborative, thoughtful team player.

      This is a hybrid role two days a week in office. Candidates must be local near an office hub: El Segundo, CA | San Deigo, CA | Dallas, TX | Des Moines, IA | St Cloud, MN | St Paul, MN.

      What You Will Do:

      • Partner with the Marketing Communications team and cross-functional colleagues to write and publish internal communications deliverables related to key corporate initiatives, collaborating closely with the team to meet goals and deadlines.
      • Write monthly communications for team members and field-facing team members.
      • Write ongoing, brief communications for internal communications channels.
      • Own and manage email marketing for team members via Marketo, including building, testing, and troubleshooting email, and provide monthly reporting on impact.
      • Draft, publish, and manage content on the intranet platform.
      • Own internal all-hands end-to-end call operations, including promotion and assessment.
      • Audit and update internal communications channels monthly. Enhance reporting dashboards with key performance indicators for internal communications activities.
      • Partner with Marketing Communications colleagues and cross-functional teams to integrate DEIB strategic priorities in all aspects of internal communications.
      • Serve as backup and support for the Internal Communications team.

      What You Need to Have:

      • 3+ years of financial services or related industry experience.
      • 3+ years of marketing communications experience.
      • Excellent writing skills, including copywriting and editing.
      • Excellent critical thinking skills.
      • Experience with incorporating DEIB strategic priorities in internal communications.
      • Experience with current and emerging communications platforms and technologies, including but not limited to Yammer, Teams, Zoom, Corporate Intranets, Corporate Websites, and Marketo.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with simultaneous timelines and hard deadlines.
      • BA, BS, or equivalent degree in business, marketing, communications, or related discipline.
      • Project management skills and ability to manage resources and stakeholders.
      • PowerPoint and Excel experience.

      Compensation:

      The base annual salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
