Job Description:
This job is responsible for identifying and providing investment products and trainings to Financial Solutions Advisors (FSAs), enabling them to match investment solutions that will fulfill and meet client needs. Key responsibilities include partnering with leadership to identify gaps in performance and build out support to drive advice delivery, by leveraging, coordinating FSA training to strengthen advisor investment acumen on Merrill platforms and True Advice Excellence (TAE) process. Job expectations include defining and measuring goals for advised solution, enterprise delivery and book management. In addition to leadership support, this job is responsible for providing support to advisors on an ADHOC basis.
Responsibilities:
• Supports Financial Solutions Advisors ( FSAs ) with client conversations and scenarios related to client platforms and fulfills client priorities and goals by applying knowledge of customer segments
• Defines and measures progress towards goals, including advice delivery , gross and net managed asset sales targets, and enterprise delivery
• Partners with FSAs to provide assistance and training needed to identify investment solutions that match client needsRequired Skills:
• FINRA Series 7 & 66
• 2+ year in Financial Solutions Advisor role (FSA)
• Strong understanding of Merrill Edge products and services as well as the Financial Advisor role
• Proven ability to engage with and influence others
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Efficiently manages time and capacity
• Can manage complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven ability to work collaboratively on a team and with key partners
• Goal and results oriented
• Strong follow-through skills
• Excellent presentation skillsDesired Skills:
• Strong computer skills with an ability to multitask in a demanding environment
• Ability to understand FSA needs
• A bachelor’s degree, or 1-2 years’ experience working in the financial service industry
• Strong ability to communicate using presentations and Power Point
