      Role Overview:

      Greif is seeking an Internal Sales Coordinator to support our team in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa. As an Internal Sales Coordinator you will receive customer orders telephonically and by email / fax and enter these into the ERP system. You will be responsible for specific customer accounts as well as cash sales across our regions as allocated by the Commercial Manager and will provide backup to the Internal Sales Team should circumstances require it.

      Typical Accountabilities:

      • Communicate with customers to update them on the status of their orders.
      • Liaise with allocated customers for daily call offs.
      • Interact with factory to ensure customer prioritization is reflected in the production plan.
      • Build the daily Load Plan taking into consideration customer expectations and submit timeously to relevant parties.
      • Notify the relevant account manager should a problem be encountered with an order.
      • Maintain accurate records and compile reports when required.
      • Attend daily production meetings and sales team meetings as requested, attend site SOP meetings as and when required.
      • Communicate new item requests and business partner requests on the ERP system.
      • Ensure orders are inputted by the internal sales coordinator in the EFP system.
      • Identify new sales opportunities and developing the market in close cooperation with the Sales Manager.
      • Adherence to the Greif Way and also Greif SA policies concerning equity and workplace conduct
      • Compliance with statutory regulations and Greif global / local policies and procedures.

      Requirements:

      • Grade 12 or equivalent required, Sales/Marketing diploma preferred
      • High level of spoken and written English; adequate Afrikaans; ability to converse in Zulu/Sotho an Advantage
      • Expertise Aptitude for sales and CRM Basic understanding of sales measurement and reporting systems
      • Experience Minimum of 3 years in a similar role Manufacturing environment advantageous
