- You will be the main point of contact on marketing for your focus markets, have regular meetings with partners – this can be over Teams but also travelling to our partners, as face to face contact is key to build and maintain positive relationships.
- You will build annual brand plans with our key markets. Plans that are built up by diagnosis, strategy, and execution tactics – resulting in targets that we together with the markets track and steer on.
- You will be a key driver for 3-year planning process and identify new growth opportunities.
- You will work closely with the teams in Group Commercial and will be part of workstreams on key projects for the global brands.
- You will be the lead on marketing workstreams on innovation projects for your relevant CE&L markets. This ranges from developing concepts, doing testing - to creating final toolkits together with or for our partners.
- You will be the brand guardian for 1664 Blanc and Grimbergen towards our partners, ensuring consistency and efficiency – but also improve the status quo where needed if local insights, regulations, or opportunities require this.
- You will keep track of performance in our key markets, following closely how new launches are doing, how campaigns are performing – and if corrective actions need to be taken in case things are not on track.
- Has a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role (local or global)
- Relevant education within Business Administration, Marketing, Branding etc.
- Is highly enthusiastic about brand management.
- Has solid organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Is creative, open-minded, and eager to learn.

Who we areCarlsberg Export & License (CE&L) is responsible for our business across 120 markets, where Carlsberg Group does not own a local brewery and therefore works with local partners (brewers and distributors).
The Premium & Beyond Beer brand team is based in Copenhagen at the Carlsberg HQ and covers Premium Beer (1664 Blanc, Grimbergen, Brooklyn), and Beyond Beer (Somersby, Garage and Energy Drinks) across all CE&L markets, amongst which Korea, Ireland, Turkiye, Australia, Belgium and Spain are some of our key markets (just to name a few). Of our many brands, Somersby and 1664 Blanc are the biggest in terms of volume.
CE&L Premium & Beyond Beer is responsible for 15% of global 1664 Blanc volume and 20% of global Somersby volume, and therefore a key stakeholder with Group Commercial.
What you’ll be doing
As International Brand Manager, Premium Beer, you will be the marketing voice of 1664 Blanc and Grimbergen brands towards our CE&L markets.
You will work closely together with local marketing teams from our partners, internal stakeholders within CE&L and Carlsberg Group, as well as agencies that are supporting the various projects.
Because of the great variety of markets there will always be new opportunities or challenges (some foreseen, some unforeseen), which makes working within Export & License very dynamic and a great opportunity to develop your brand marketing capabilities and stakeholder management skills – whilst being able to make impact to the overall Carlsberg business. This role reports to the International Marketing Manager Premium & Beyond Beer in CE&L.
