      Job Description:

      International Trade Compliance Sr. Analyst (Remote)

      The Parsons Global Trade Compliance department is an important piece of the Parsons compliance team. As a part of the team, candidates will be collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders related to the imports and exports of U.S. State Department and U.S. Commerce Department controlled goods.

      Position Overview:

      • Candidate shall pro-actively manage export licensing, to include the drafting and review of all export/import license applications, agreements, general correspondence, and other forms of requests in a timely manner to satisfy export/import regulatory time frames and revenue deadlines

      • Candidate will support in managing the lifecycle of shipments under these licenses in coordination with other stakeholders, including provisos, annual reporting, timely return of demo assets, tracking, accounting, and recordkeeping and support the import compliance function where that lifecycle intersects with the import function.

      • Candidate will continuously monitor export/import operations and timely provide any concerns, issues and/or potential instances of non-compliance to the Empowered Official

      • Diligently and professionally manage other tasks, projects and/or responsibilities as assigned and/or delegated by the Empowered Official

      Required Basic Qualifications:

      • Candidate should have experience with ITAR licensing involving multiple authorizations utilized concurrently (TAA, DSP61, DSP73, and DSP5)

      • Candidate should have experience with SNAPR and EAR licensing

      • Candidate should be knowledgeable on the use of exemptions and exceptions.

      • Exhibits a high level of integrity and discretion

      • Demonstrated strong written and interpersonal communications skills.

      • Being a team player is a must for this position!

      • BA/BS or equivalent experience; preferably in one of the following fields: Business, Political Science, International Studies

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience in doing jurisdiction and classification analysis.

      • Knowledge of U.S. import compliance requirements.

      • Ability to secure and maintain a US security clearance strongly preferred.

      • Willingness to travel if required

        Salary Range:

        $92,200.00 - $161,400.00
