- Biometric health screenings and health fairs
- Educational seminars and health coaching
- Data entry and reporting
- Supply chain management and logistics
- Recently graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited graduate or undergraduate program in health, wellness or related field, junior or senior preferred
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task and manage projects with aggressive timeliness
- Highly professional and able to work as a team member
- Reliable transportation
- Provide the necessary skills and knowledge to accurately and confidentially measure and document biometric screening results including: height/weight/BMI, blood pressure, waist circumference, and fingerstick blood collection using Cholestech equipment
- Confidentially and knowledgably use coaching skills to counsel on screening results and lifestyle change
- Verify and enter participant data by reviewing, correcting, and revising data for accuracy and completeness
- Participate in quality control procedures as related to data and screening procedures
- Assist with administrative duties including logistics planning, communication, and customer service calls
- Participate in a health and wellness related project to enhance the internship experience
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and policies for participant confidentiality
- Complete an independent project to complete the learning experience
