Internship - Digital and Creative

The internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our Heineken Experience Sales & Marketing team as a Digital and Creative Marketing Intern. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the digital marketing, social media, and activations fields. The intern will work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist and the Social Media Specialist & Creative. You will assist the team in three different areas:

1. Digital marketing:

• Digital analytics and reporting: Elaboration of weekly and monthly reports, analyzing data from all the Heineken Experience channels (website, social media, customer reviews).
• Digital campaigns: Assist in the development of digital campaigns from strategy and ideation to production and activation.

1. Social media:

• Content planning: Assist in planning the social media content calendar, organizing and scheduling the content for various social media platforms and ensuring a consistent and strategic approach to engage the audience effectively.
• Content Discovery: You will be responsible for finding trendy and creative content that aligns with the company's brand and target audience. This can include researching relevant social media platforms, exploring current trends, and identifying engaging content ideas.

1. Activations:

• Activations: You will assist in planning and executing guest activations at the Heineken Experience. This involves brainstorming ideas, coordinating logistics, and ensuring a smooth execution of the activations.
• Internal Events: You will also assist in organizing internal events such as King’s Day, the HEX Summer Party or Pride. This could involve coordinating venues, decorations, entertainment, and other logistical aspects to create enjoyable experiences for employees.

The department

The Heineken Experience is a brand experience located in the first build Heineken brewery in the heart of Amsterdam. We are an international, dynamic and enthusiast team aiming to promote the Heineken Experience to enhance and amplify the influence and impact of the Heineken ® brand.

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 1 February 2024
• The internship is fulltime
• The duration of the internship is 6 months.
• You will be based in Amsterdam
• You will receive an internship fee of €500 (wo & hbo) gross pm based on fulltime or €300 (mbo) gross pm based on fulltime
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

Please note that all interns must be enrolled at an educational institution.

1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.

You will need to provide a proof of enrolment with your application. Applications without this will not be considered.

• Basic knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools.

• Team player.
