      Are you an individual interested in working on ground-up projects in a creative environment? We have an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer Intern to join our engineering team.

      The Electrical Engineer Intern is a broad role that offers you the opportunity to work on a variety of engineering programs in the Themed Entertainment Industry supporting ride and show systems. The role works on projects for large and small customers to meet the customers timelines. The Electrical Engineer Intern works in a team environment to understand each customer’s unique needs and will perform independent project tasks while also collaborating with customers and team members.

      This is a great position for a focused engineer experienced in complete product life cycle development and excited to work in the themed entertainment industry. This is a paid internship located in Orlando, FL.

      Minimum qualifications to be considered as a Electrical Engineer Intern:

      • Must be able to work a 40+ hour work week
      • Must currently be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
      • Engineering interns must have a minimum sophomore standing
      • Must be proficient in MS Office
      • Must have a strong desire to learn electrical wiring harnesses, electrical system integration and control system design and development
      • Familiar with electrical diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
      • A willingness to actively engage in hands-on technical tasks, such as assembling wiring harnesses, soldering circuit boards, testing control assemblies, sourcing components, providing direction for harness routing and retention etc.
      • Academic or professional experience with wiring, reading and generating circuit schematics and wire harness prints
      Preferred Skills:
      • Hands-on experience with wiring, soldering, and electrical diagnosis strongly preferred
      • CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
      • Prior internship experience in electrical or controls
      • Hands-on experience with robotics, animatronics, or show-action equipment strongly preferred
      • Experience with Controller Area Network (CANbus), Serial, EtherCAT, and Ethernet communications
      • Testing and instrumentation experience
