Job Description
- Req#: 90869
- Contribute to various scales of experimentations (from lab to pilot scale), supporting our R&D engineers in bio-polymers production.
- Conduct systematic investigations on bio-polymers synthesis and processing.
- Characterize comprehensively the produced bio-polymers to enable application development at a later stage.
- Ideate and evaluate next generation bio-polymers.
- Present results at group meetings and summarize your work in form of reports.
- An excellent (final year) master’s degree or PhD students with a major in chemistry / material science / chemical engineering along with a solid understanding in polymer chemistry.
- Laboratory experience in conducting organic chemistry experiments and in using various chromatographic equipment (GC/HPLC/GPC).
- Know-how in mechanical testing (tensile/impact tester) and thermal characterization (DSC and MFI) are advantageous.
- Fluent English, any other language is an advantage.
- Skilled in MS Office 365 (especially Excel).

Join our Bio-polymers and Bio-monomers R&D team within Chemtech division in Switzerland as R&D Engineering Intern to help us take our Bio-based and Renewable Applications to the next level.In this role you will be accountable for:
The internship is intended to begin from 1st February 2024 and last for six (6) consecutive months. Starting time can be negotiated based on curriculum needs and individual situations.
