      Our Internship Program:

      Our competitive Summer Internship program provides a comprehensive work experience across two key advisory groups of Baird’s Global Investment Banking division : the GP-Solutions Group and the Private Capital Markets . Interns will support both groups during the program, while being treated as valuable team members and learning from experienced professionals in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

      Internship Location and Availability:
      Located in our New York City Offices in Bryant Park , interns must be flexible to work full time during the summer.

      As a Summer Analyst in the GP-Solutions and Private Capital Markets groups , you will:

      • Assist in the preparation of financial models, company marketing materials and client presentations

      • Manage investors throughout capital raise process including facilitating their diligence

      • Perform research and various analyses in support of thematic publications and new business generation

      • Gain an expert understanding of the drivers of credit quality and equity valuation, the mechanics of credit agreements and investment documentation, market dynamics and the landscape of debt and equity investors

      • Develop your skills through broad exposure to clients, investors, and Baird bankers

      • Work closely with senior bankers and support execution of Secondary Advisory transactions for key financial sponsor relationships

      • Conduct research, help construct complex financial models, assist in the preparation of client presentations, and gain exposure to live transaction activity

      • Learn analytical skills through broad exposure to both junior and senior bankers, that will prepare you for a full-time career in Investment Banking

      What we look for:

      • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program required with a strong interest of finance; Graduation date of December 2025 or Spring 2026 is required

      • A full-time minimum 10-week commitment during the summer is required

      • Accounting, Business, Economics and Finance concentrations are preferred, but not mandatory

      • Candidates must be eager and able to learn in a challenging environment

      • Possess a strong work ethic and a record for excellence

      • Have the ability to function equally well in both a team setting and on a self-directed basis

      • Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal and computer skills

      • Significant hours are required

      Compensation Information:

      • Min: $ 110 ,000 - $ 1 10 ,000 Max Annual Salary (pro-rated for summer program)
