Job Description

- Working with senior Brookfield management on deal origination
- Performing complex financial modelling and cash flow analysis
- Participating in every stage of deal execution and supporting the deal flow with ad hoc tasks
- Preparation of investment committee memorandums
- Assisting portfolio company management teams with a wide range of strategic activities including but not limited to bolt-on acquisitions, (re-)financings, business plan forecasting, strategic planning and other operations
- Conducting market research and tracking of industry trends
- Major in engineering, business, finance, economics, real estate or law preferred but not required
- Previous real estate M&A internship experience is beneficial
- Genuine interest in real estate
- Strong analytical and financial skills as well as proficiency with Excel, Power Point and Word
- Self-motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of another European language is an advantage (preferably French, German, Dutch, Spanish, or Italian)

Job DescriptionRole Overview
Brookfield Asset Management is looking to add a full time (8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday) intern to the Real Estate team (London office), for a duration of 6 months starting in March/April 2024, who will work closely with a seasoned team of real estate investment professionals in both M&A and portfolio management teams. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work on high profile transactions and portfolio companies throughout Europe and to interact with and support the global investment team network.
