      Internship - Route to Consumer (RTC) and Customer Experience (CX) - September 2023

      The internship

      As a valued member of the Sales Excellence team, you will be working on a high profile cross-functional initiative, driving Sales Productivity and supporting the rightsizing of our Fixed Cost base with our local Operational Companies (OpCos).

      We have an ambitious program with challenging targets and you will be embedded with the team to directly contribute to successful delivery

      This will include

      • Supporting the development and testing of our GRIP framework
      • Helping with the creation and maintenance of training materials and masterclasses for all levels of the organisation
      • Maintaining an active Constomer Centricity community with healthy online engagment
      • Collaboration with the wider Sales Excellence team in linking the RTC and CX streams with Sales Productivity and Omnichannel Capability
      • Engaging and aligning with other departments such as e-Business HR, Marketing and Finance

      The department

      Global Sales is an international department within HEINEKEN’s Head Office in Amsterdam. We’re a diverse team of individuals gathered from around the world, all focused on supporting our local OpCos in Sales excellence and transformation

      The role reports to the Sales Productivity Manager within the Sales Excellence Team


      The terms of employment

      • Your starting date is September 2023
      • The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
      • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
      • It is a practice-oriented internship
      • You will be based in Amsterdam.
      • You will receive an internship fee of €500 gross pm based on fulltime working
      • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
      • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

      The start of your internship

      Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

      • Currently in study for a Bachelors or Master’s degree.
      • Fluent English language required – other languages are a bonus but not essential
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      • Assertive, pragmatic, resilient and a can-do attitude, especially in a fast-paced envronment
      • Excellent analytical skills
      • Interest and/or experience in commercial/sales field, procurement field, Horeca, food industry, FMCG, is always welcomed

      Conditions of HEINEKEN

      1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
        1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
        2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
      2. Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing.
