- Program Dates:
- Summer 2024: Approximately May 2024 – August 2024
- Fall 2024: Approximately September 2024 – December 2024
- Coordinates and creates documentation media and programs to be used across Universal Orlando Resort to support a visual reference tool relaying artist intent.
- Performs resort wide filming and editing of visual media while coordinating with Tech Services, Operations, Entertainment, and Creative teams to capture original intent.
- Partners with various Divisions across the resort to video document Area Development, Marquee Events, and Attractions.
- Locates, updates, assembles, and organizes accurate technical and aesthetic documentation information to be included in visual tool.
- Supports various administrative functions of the Universal One department.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- An official transcript may be required upon request.
- Preferred majors include: Film, Lighting, Themed Entertainment.
- Preferred coursework completed: Film, Lighting, Editing.
- Computer skills with a focus in Illustrator, 3DVista, SharePoint, Power BI, Maximo, and Smartsheet preferred.
- Experience related to film and editing preferred.
- Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Superior written & verbal communication skills.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
- Consistent attendance.
- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2024 or December 2024 to participate in the Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 semester, respectively.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
