Job Description

- Provide overall Microsoft 365 security expertise including knowledge of Entra ID, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Information Protection, Data loss prevention, Information Rights Management, Intune (Conditional access/ MDM), single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security)
- Support in building and implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Support in building and managing Cloud-Based Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
- Support global cyber security projects, e.g. Identity and Access Management, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), SIEM, Incident Management etc.
- Monitor computer networks for security issues
- Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs
- Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards
- Support in development of company-wide best practices for IT security
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management
- Support the IT team in general day-to-day tasks
- Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft 365 Management, Enterprise Mobility & Security services including Entra ID, Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM), Azure Information Protection (AIP), Exchange Online, Defender for Endpoint & Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Hands-on experience establishing and configuring security controls for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 components preferred
- Focus on a Windows environment, preferable if you have experience with Linux
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities
- Experience in information security or related field
- Basic experience with M365 Security & Compliance, Intune, Microsoft Defender.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Sentinel preferred
- Experience with network / system security, intrusion prevention and detection preferred
- Basic knowledge of networking, e.g. IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, load balancer and DNS is preferred
