      Intern/working student (m/f/d) lightweight design and materials

      Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as intern/ working student (f/m/d) in lightweight design and materials. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.

      Your Tasks

      • Assist in researching and developing new composite materials, processes and technologies
      • Gain insights into the production of composite components and structures, as well as optimizing manufacturing processes
      • Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate the performance and properties of composite materials, components and systems
      • Take ownership of smaller composite systems or projects, from design and analysis to validation and hands-on manufacturing, ensuring their successful execution and meeting project objectives

      Your Qualificatons

      • Current bachelor's or master's student in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
      • Strong interest in rocketry/space and a passion for working with composite materials
      • A hands-on mentality and/or prior experience in composite production, such as involvement in related projects, participation in student racing teams, rocketry teams, or similar endeavors
      • Experience in CAD software, particularly Siemens NX
      • Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools and analytical calculation methods
      • Fluent oral and written English skills, as all day-to-day activities are conducted in English
