    • Sound knowledge of special education law and requirements, experience with Federal/Ohio Special Education Law, Ohio Academic Content Standards, graduation requirements, and assessments;
    • Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member;
    • Computer expertise appropriate to the position;
    • Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
    • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance;
    • History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
    • Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.

      Intervention Specialist

      | LOCATION
      Fairfield Township Campus, School of the Arts Building

      | GENERAL DESCRIPTION
      The Intervention Specialist will assume responsibility for the delivery of quality education that will ensure that maximum learning can take place and help special needs students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature and responsible citizens.

      | QUALIFICATIONS
      • Valid Ohio Department of Education & Workforce licensure and/or certification in Special Education;
      • Sound knowledge of special education law and requirements, experience with Federal/Ohio Special Education Law, Ohio Academic Content Standards, graduation requirements, and assessments;
      • Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member;

      | SALARY Based upon experience and education ($49,667 – 103,605)

      | BENEFITS Includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; tuition reimbursement

      | WORK YEAR 185 days - 7.5 hours/day
