Durango School District 9-R is accepting applications for an Interventionist - Mindset & Behavior Focus, .65 FTE, 26 hrs/wk at Park Elementary School. Must have CDE License. Position includes full benefits and begins ASAP. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist school leaders, SEL Interventionist, teachers, and school counselor in the development and delivery of comprehensive multi-tiered student supports (MTSS) for students with demonstrated needs. Collaborate with school staff, parents and students to develop behavior plans and implement strategies to decrease barriers in the classroom. Support students in their ability to demonstrate and transfer mindset & behaviors performance indicators and executive functioning skills. Support/coach teachers and school staff in the implementation of school-wide Tier 1 & Tier 2 Behavior/SEL protocols. Push into general education classrooms to support students in transferring skills. Participate as a member of the school based MTSS team. Monitor student behavior plans and associated interventions weekly using online data tool. Collect and utilize achievement, behavioral, results, and outcome data to adjust and inform decisions with students.
