    • Three years successful teaching experience
    • Coordinates and organizes all local, state and federal mandated assessments.
    • Plans and coordinates staff development activities, curriculum and instruction design, systematic monitoring system, acquisition of instructional technology and materials for the campus.
    • Models effective teaching practices.
    • Prepares data analysis reports.
    • Disaggregates assessment data by students, teacher/class, subject area, population, etc.
    • Presents data to all stakeholders in a timely and organized manner.
    • Maintains current and longitudinal assessment results.
    • Maintains test information in a neat and organized manner and upholds test security and confidentiality.
    • Attends all meetings and training sessions required for this position and turnaround training to appropriate staff.
    • Provides demonstration lessons as appropriate.
    • Conferences with teachers to provide support for classroom instruction.
    • Prepares instructional/assessment materials for classroom/individual student use.
    • Conducts studies of results and provides suggestions for improvements.
    • Tracks annually the progress of students who have failed to achieve the Student Success Initiative requirements.
    • Facilitates teachers’ maintenance and review of student profiles.
    • Works closely with campus PEIMS, Bilingual and Special Education personnel to stay updated on current student codes for demographics.
    • Develops and implements strategies to integrate technology instruction in core, academic content areas.
    • Keeps daily documentation of every staff development session, every classroom visit, every staff contact, etc. that the Instruction and Assessment Strategist conducts.
    • Plans and implements a systematic accountability and monitoring system for continuous improvement of all students, with emphasis on special student populations.
    • Coordinates alignment of curriculum and assessment activities in all areas of instruction.
    • Assists in the integration of technology within the classroom for instruction and assessment purposes.
    • Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or others.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

      >HOURLY RANGE: $57,150 - $70,270 (+ 5 days)

      PRIMARY PURPOSE:
      Assists principal in planning instructional strategies for curriculum implementation to meet test objectives. Coordinates all testing and provides testing resources. Analyze and interpret student data. Assists teachers with identification, implementation, continuous development of instructional skills and appropriate instructions aligned with current student data.

      QUALIFICATIONS:
      Education/Certification:
      1. Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university
      2. Master’s Degree preferred
      3. Valid Texas teaching certificate
