Job Description

- Maintain cycle count and physical inventory programs, including molded plastics
- Identify reason for any differences between physical count and records and take corrective action
- Keeping accurate records of inventory counts and adjustments made and reports statistical information to management
- Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures
- Must be able to interface with warehouse, engineering and supply chain teams, production leadership
- Identifying areas where inventory management processes can be improved to streamline operations
- Checking accuracy of incoming shipments
- Support CSM (lean manufacturing) initiatives by participating in events, assisting wherever possible and following up to ensure that gains are maintained
- Works with Engineering and Manufacturing to assure accurate and complete information within the Bill of Materials
- Support physical inventory processes and audits when required.
- Two or more years of related experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Bills of Materials and Routings
- Knowledge of basic inventory management principles
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Mechanical aptitude
- Forklift certification
- High School Diploma/GED is required
Job Summary: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for performing regular and accurate cycle counts of inventory to ensure data integrity, support operational efficiency, and minimize inventory discrepancies. This role helps maintain proper inventory levels, identify root causes of variances, and support warehouse and logistics functions.
