- Ensures inventory accuracy is maintained through daily cycle counting, investigation and root cause analysis of discrepancies and communicating the findings to appropriate parties.
- Manages inventory adjustments to ensure appropriate processes are followed and documentation is maintained.
- Develops and documents procedures to ensure inventory-related activities are fulfilled in a consistent, accurate and timely manner.
- Coordinates with Quality Control Department and Inventory Control personnel to ensure product dispositioned for throwaway or reprocess is identified and removed from inventory in a timely manner.
- Manages tagging process of finished goods produced during Fresh Pack and Remanufacturing production runs with the Tagging Team to ensure product is identified and put away accurately and in a timely manner.
- Associate's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.
- Three years’ experience in warehouse operations, inventory control and management, preferably in manufacturing environment; one-year supervisory experience, preferably in union environment.
- Good knowledge of principles and practices of supply chain logistics and warehouse operations management, including inventory control systems and associated software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; and inventory management software application.
- Bilingual English/Spanish language skills preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check including employment and educational verification, credit screen, and to work extended schedule and weekends during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October.

We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to support material receipts, rail car and truck shipping by maintaining accurate inventory through the use of inventory control systems, associated documentation, personnel and time management. This leader will be responsible for supervising department area personnel in daily operations and ensures compliance with company and regulatory standards and requirements for safety, sanitation, and productivity at our TomaTek plant in Firebaugh, CA.

The salary range is $69,200- $85,800, based on experience and qualifications.
