  Position Summary

  Inventory Control warehouse personnel perform a very important function as they are responsible for ensuring all warehouse storage locations are accurate by cycle counting multiple times during the year. This is an important function aligned with the company’s goal of keeping inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts. This position will also assist in receiving finished goods, transferring goods, and adjusting samples to ensure we meet the clients/customer’s demands.

  Essential Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting up daily cycle counts, keeping records of locations counted, and adjustments +/- made in the WMS within allotted quantity.
  • Perform daily cycle counts following the established process and cycle count tracker.
  • Assign additional counters work as needed to meet daily goals.
  • Reconcile inventory by conducting research of system documents.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and correct discrepancy reports daily to maintain inventory.
  • Work with Inventory Control dept if quantity after research is still over allotted qty.
  • Perform audits on reported shortages, skips and maintain product identification accuracy.
  • Assist 2ns shift with receiving of all shipments by comparing packing lists to the PO and to warehouse final counts.
  • Communicate with production on discrepancies and obtain approvals to receive.
  • Participate in physical inventory preparations and on site counting as needed.
  • Flexibility in accepting new duties and aiding co-workers is expected.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of warehouse clerk, cycle counter and/or receiving experience
  • Intermediate Excel and Outlook knowledge with experience using WMS systems
  • Valid current reach truck forklift certification. In-house trainer will verify skills during interview process.
  • Knowledge of warehouse flow & inventory reconciliation practices.
  • Detail orientated and kept accurate records
  • Ability to multitask and communicate clearly with various types of personnel
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
