  General Summary:
  As an Inventory Flow Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining our lot, managing vehicle receiving and shipping, scanning inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer support. Your responsibilities will include vehicle movement, lot maintenance, vehicle washing, uploading photos, and providing top-notch service to our customers.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute defined processes as per work instructions and standardized methods.
  • Engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Assist in training new associates under the guidance of experienced Inventory Associates and Managers.
  • Deliver outstanding service to internal and external customers.
  • Maintain daily lot upkeep while ensuring the security of display areas and work zones.
  • Secure receiving and shipping of vehicles to and from CarMax.
  • Prepare vehicle and title packets for shipment to other locations.
  • Perform inventory scanning to ensure accurate product status.
  • Wash and vacuum customer returns and loaner vehicles.
  • Conduct front-lot wash and manage the Photo Station process.
  • Safely drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs or storage.
  • Support Auctions, if applicable.
  • Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization, adhering to CarMax 5S standards.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Inventory Associate IVs and Managers.

  Minimum Qualifications:
  This position requires the following:

  • Current driver's license and compliance with CarMax DSEPS standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret data to maintain accurate records.
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Competence in executing defined processes as per instructions.
  • Successful completion of necessary Inventory Associate Workstation Certifications and assigned learnings.
  • Capacity to safely lift up to 50lbs.

  Working Conditions:
  The role involves both indoor and outdoor environments, with potential exposure to noisy and inclement weather. Flexible working hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Expect to walk or stand for prolonged periods in a dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere.

  Hourly Pay Rate:
  $20.59 - $28.64

  Benefits:

  • Full-time associates earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year and between 80 to 200 vacation hours per year, depending on service length.
  • Receive pay for 6 scheduled holidays and 1 floating holiday with premium pay for working on a holiday.
