Raytheon is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to perform and manage activities related to the storeroom at the Goleta, CA site. The overarching responsibility of this role is managing inventory discrepancies through to resolution.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform regular inventory audits.
• Work directly with the Raytheon production team to identify causes of discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory accuracy of all Raytheon and Government owned materials within the storeroom through inspections, reviewing of receipts, etc.
• Accountability to processes, compliance, mission assurance and business system data integrity.
• Provide cross functional support to production team members to identify procedures for ensuring adequate and accurate inventory levels.
• Develop corrective actions to mitigate future discrepancies.
• Follow contractual requirements in support of receipt and shipment requirements.
• Oversee Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS) audits.
• Regularly generate and report on system health metrics.
• Troubleshoot system transaction errors and take appropriate corrective action.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Microsoft Word and Excel use.
• Analyzing data and provide relevant recommendations for improvement.
• Work experience in a warehouse environment performing various inventory activities.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Additional Desired Experience and Skills:

• Working knowledge of SAP
• Exposure to FAR and DFAR.

Education:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
