- The Inventory Management Support B will be responsible for managing inventory-related activities including receiving, stocking, kitting, issuing, and ensuring compliance with Government and corporate policies.
- This role will support company and program requirements, ensuring timely and accurate inventory management and maintaining 100% accountability.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 25-50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to mechanical parts, dust, fumes, chemicals, and loud noises.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with little direction.
- Ability to read, write, and understand policies, procedures, and computer-generated reports.
- Excellent people skills, collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to organizational success.
- Adherence to health and safety standards set by client Technologies and regulatory agencies.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory control/stockroom functions (receiving, storing, issuing, kitting material).
- Experience with Costpoint and/or SAP Ariba (desired).
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO, AS) is a plus.
- Experience working with Suppliers, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Quality, and Engineering teams.
- Count, sort, or weigh incoming items and verify quantities against purchase orders.
- Process receipts into the computer-based system of record.
- Package, label, and stock materials in bins, racks, or shelves according to identifying part numbers.
- Build and issue kits or individual parts for program and manufacturing material requirements.
- Transport materials from the stockroom to production areas.
- Conduct periodic, special, or perpetual inventory checks and adjust inventory counts in property records as needed.
- Maintain 5S standards within the stockroom and storage areas.
- Identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety, upholding client Technologies and OSHA safety standards.
- Potentially cross-train in additional processes within the Supply Chain Management area, such as HAZMAT Certification or processing shipments for operations.
- Perform property accountability inspections and other related functions as assigned.
- General proficiency with computers and software applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to complete applicable paperwork and computer data entries accurately.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain inventory control with 100% accuracy.
- Strong adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in handling material and equipment used in inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory control/stockroom functions.
- General computer proficiency.
