An opening is available for Inventory Reports Coordinator in the Utility Services Department. Overall duties will include, but are not limited to, maintaining daily records of materials in inventory and on order, monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock, reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities in order to keep DU operating efficiently on a day-to-day basis. Other duties include, analyzing and summarizing numerical information and critically examining for accuracy; contacting vendors for formal quotes and delivery information as needed; inputting and accessing inventory data through a computerized maintenance management information system. Successful candidate will necessarily interact with a wide range of people and must be able to cooperate with peers, managers, contractors and operations personnel and act as a liaison between other employees and departments when it comes to physical inventory or parts and supplies.
This position is Monday ? Friday, 7:00 a.m. ? 3:30 p.m., regular hours.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or GED required. Must be highly computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft GP, Excel, and Access. Must have excellent communication skills. Must have full dexterity of hands. Must be able to speak in a clear and concise manner. Must be able walk up and down stairs. Must be able to see, hear, walk, reach, sit, stoop, and stand for extended periods. Must be able to drive a vehicle. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.?
Pay Range:
$17.00 ? 27.50/hour?
