Job Description Job Title: Inventory Servicer Department: 641 Materials & Stock/Rec/Tra Reports To: Production Manager Job Code: 173S FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt Prepared Date: February 2009 Updated: May 2015 Summary: Primary purpose of the job will be to move inventory within the factory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: · Get job instructions · Move parts and materials to and from designated areas , operating industrial tractors, such as fork lift, etc. · Follow instructions according to department schedule to maintain smooth production flow · Maintains stock location system · Weighs parts and materials · Affixes identification to products · Makes stock checks · Assist in taking inventory · Verifies and completes necessary paperwork · Loads and unloads trucks and trailers · Dumps Scrap containers · Observes for and reports damaged materials and products, needed maintenance, material shortages and items needing back ordered · Verifies counts, part numbers, etc. · Keeps work station in order · Observes all safety rules · Supports team objectives · Other duties as assigned · Must be able to perform production jobs well · Must be able to work a weekend schedule · Must be able to work overtime as needed · May not have more than two moving violations within the last three years.
