Job Description
JOB TITLE: Inventory Specialist (Non - Union)
Rate of Pay: $29.90
PURPOSE –
The position is responsible for the accurate accounting of raw, pack, and work in process (WiP) inventory performing counts, creating standards for counting, provide training, analyzing variances to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. This position will handle Cycle Counting overview, work with Operations and the Warehouse to ensure proper Cycle Counting of Inventory. This position also performs a variety of clerical duties including data entry and maintenance of files and records.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES –
1. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly cycle counts and inventory verifications of raw, packaging, and WIP materials in designated areas across the plant.
2. Post cycle counts daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.
3. Review, update, and create job aides and SAP and the SAP training.
4. Review, investigate, develop, and implement corrective actions for variances related to cycle counts.
5. Validate daily production of WIP and Finished Goods in SAP.
6. Monitor and validate the movements of inventory from the warehouse to production and production to the warehouse.
7. Clean up discrepancies in the back locations. Ensure back locations are cleared daily and weekly. Review Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Resources in SAP for accuracy.
8. Review and validate material discrepancies related to cycle counts, good receipts, good issues (i.e. works with operation and warehouse cycle counts for resolution).
9. Monitors and corrects material movement errors (i.e. COGI, ZPROD, and ZCON, etc.)
10. Works closely with Operations, Logistics Crew Leader, Finance, and Warehouse Cycle Counters.
11. Reports directly to Production & Inventory Control Manager.
12. Performs any other duties as required.
13. Food Safety Team Member
14. In addition to the following, employees are responsible for understanding the relevance and importance of the individual’s activities in contributing to food safety, and reporting situations that may impact food.
15. Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) standards as outlined in the plant’s QRMP accountability document, including the implementation, improvement and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications (Preferred) -
1. 1 - 3 years of experience in each of the following areas: Logistics/ /Operations Manufacturing.
2. Detailed Oriented.
3. Interpersonal relationship skills.
4. Business savvy skills.
5. High degree of problem solving skills.
6. Good at multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.
7. Good oral and written communication skills
8. High School Diploma or Equivalent
