Job Description:

• The Inventory/Materials Assistant is a contractor position that supports the daily operations of our stockroom.
• As a contractor, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, performing a combination of manual and clerical duties related to inventory management.
• This role involves using computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting, as well as following established inventory practices and procedures.
• Verify and record material receipts, including quantity, cost, and type.
• Inspect articles and reject defective ones.
• Prepare inventory records and reports, including investigating discrepancies in stock counts.
• Requisition needed supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Perform routine, repetitive, and basic tasks where precedent, methods, and processes are well established.
