  The Immigration Compliance and Investigations branch have a vacancy in the investigation team based in Auckland.

  It is a unique opportunity to join Immigration Compliance & Investigation and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment at a time of growth.   The team sits within the Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and are tasked with preventing and responding to immigration related offending and non-compliance.

  Skills and Experience Required
  

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to manage risk and maintain confidentiality with sensitive issues
  • Ability to support vulnerable complaints through the investigation process
  • An analytical thinker with experience in planning and undertaking complex criminal investigations prosecutions in a team environment
  • Sound understanding and application of NZ legislation in investigation and prosecution processes

  To be eligible for this role, applicants must be NZ citizens or hold permanent residence.
