- 7+ years of security, law enforcement, or investigative experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Available to travel on short notice up to 10% of the time
- Maintain Concealed Pistol License (CPL)
- Annual MCOLE firearms qualification
- CPR/AED certification
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize case load with limited supervision
- Ability to organize data and write concise investigative reports
- Strong investigative interviewing skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply state and federal law and procedures
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet Company driving standards

- Experience in conducting and overseeing complex, global investigations to include criminal acts, conflict of interest, fraud, theft, embezzlement, inappropriate use of Company resources, and other substantial violations of Company policy
- Receive Tip Call information from Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and handle accordingly
- Conduct investigations that uncover non-compliance with all Company policies, including violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), cases involving the leak of Ford Confidential and Propriety Information, employee and supplier fraud, corporate espionage, and other significant matters that may arise or become known to General Investigations (GI)
- Coordinate investigations and develop effective working relationships with GAO (Special Investigations), and OGC (Compliance), HR (People Matters), all Regional Investigations Coordinators, CIRT Forensics, Part Brand Protection, and other work partners
- Accesses investigative databases and performs research as required
- Manages Background Investigations (BI) process, conducts limited background investigations, including liaison with outside BI service providers, external law enforcement agencies, Ford Recruiting, and Ford Labor Relations
- Assist with technical surveys regarding camera installation and maintenance after installing
- Preserves evidence as well as proprietary document control. Interviews and takes written statements from all parties involved in Corporate Investigations at all levels of the Company
- Coordinates and maintains liaison with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.
- Communicates effectively (verbally & in writing) with individuals at all levels, inside and outside the Company
- Expert knowledge and application of relevant local, state, and federal laws and/or regulations.
- Analytical & problem-solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives and recommend optimal solutions for various situation
- Provide prompt courteous customer service to our internal and external customers to include timely contacts with employers, complainants and others.
- Responds to physical and verbal threats, investigates threats in the workplace; resolves same to avoid potential occurrences of workplace violence
- Develops, coordinates, and participates in education and training programs that focus on elements of Corporate Security
- Attend all mandated Global Security training sessions (e.g. Annual MCOLES, CPR/AED)
- Provide security at various special assignments, i.e. Auto Show and other Special events
