      • Work with the team, developing proficiency with the legal elements of distressed debt investing and cultivate a firm grasp of reading and understanding credit documents (credit agreements, indentures, plans of reorganisation).
      • Provide ongoing monitoring of holdings to identify changes in company fundamentals, industry conditions, or security valuations that may alter the investment thesis.
      • Present and debate investment recommendations with The Special Situations & Distressed Credit teams and also our Global Leveraged Finance teams.
      • Compile regular reports for portfolio and risk management, assisting in day-to-day portfolio tracking analysis and reporting.
      • Support global Leveraged Finance platform by performing analysis and diligence on stressed/distressed situations as needed.
      • Develop and also maintain strong working relationships with our colleagues in global research teams (e.g., High Yield, Leveraged Loans, Emerging Markets, Investment Grade, Securitised Products).
      • Develop and maintain sell-side, buy-side, and advisory relationships (with outside financial, legal, and industry experts).

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

      • Experience working in Investment Banking - restructuring, distressed debt, high yield, or leveraged loan experience and/or sell-side distressed.
      • Experience in business valuation, financial statement analysis, securities analysis, law, and international finance (including emerging markets).
      • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
      • Advanced financial modelling skills, including three-statement models, capital structure tables, comparable company tables, sensitivity tables, DCF analysis, LBO analysis, and enterprise value calculations.
      • Strong reasoning and communication skills.

      What’s in it for you?

      • A competitive salary, depending on the experience you can bring
      • A non-contributory pension between 9%-13%
      • A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance
      • 27 days leave per year (plus bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)

We also offer private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave and a variety of lifestyle benefits to help our staff live their best lives, including retail discount vouchers, cycle2work scheme, subsidised restaurant and online GP appointments.

We serve a diverse, ever-changing world. It's tough, but we work tirelessly to leave things better than we find them. If that sounds like the sort of place you'd like to work, hit the "Apply" button.
