1-3 years of experience in an analytically rigorous Real Estate or Finance environment
Experience with financial modeling
Evident passion for real estate and desire to build a career on the principal side
Strong creative problem solving skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
The ability to work effectively with both peers and senior executives in a highly entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment
Unwavering attention to detail
Conduct asset site inspections
Work with the other functions within TS (property management, asset management, and construction) to gather data relevant to asset valuation
Develop asset acquisition financial analysis
Create multiple scenarios using different finance strategies
Create and manage the detailed financial models
Incorporate the results from the other TS function into the financial analysis
Develop and maintain documentation
Attend meetings with sellers, brokers and attorneys
Create and manage the detailed financial models
Review critical issue reports, newsletters, and publications to stay current re: TS specific and industry related issues
Survey market rents, inventory, absorption, new construction
Update/maintain internal market database

Summary of the Position:
Analyse real estate acquisition opportunities, assist in the due diligence process and the preparation of internal recommendation memos, and undertake market research necessary to determine appropriate underwriting assumptions.
