As a result of our involvement, Lockheed Martin may partner with a portfolio company to help access defense and aerospace markets with its products.
Reporting to the portfolio manager of Lockheed Martin Ventures, the investment analyst will be responsible for the following:
• Source deal flow.
• Maintain relations management database.
• Support due diligence activities.
• Assist in building financial models.
• Maintain Corporate confidentiality and disclosure protocol.
• Support investments through the internal approval process.
• Support portfolio companies through internal program management.
• Assist in facilitating business relationships between portfolio companies and operating units.
• Build collegial relations within CVC, with other BA personnel who are critical to deals, and with VCs.
• Show exemplary behavior consistent with LMT core values (honesty, integrity, mutual trust and respect). • Working knowledge of P&L statements, balance sheets.
• Effective analytical skills and storytelling
• Effective research skills into company capital and operating structures.
• BS, MS or PhD in Science, Engineering or Technology discipline preferred
• Knowledge of company capital and operating structures. • MBA with 1-2 years finance or operations experience.
• Effective organization and communication skills both written and oral.
• Experience with analyzing corporate business plans.
